The New Elizabethans:

Leon founded The New Elizabethans embroidery group in 1998.

The New Elizabethans is a group of hand-embroiderers and textile artists, committed to working in contemporary and innovative ways using traditional needlework techniques.

Ongoing work involves co-ordinating discussions, leading focus and study groups and group projects, organising exhibitions, and promoting the work of the group through the press and other media.
