Bess of Hardwick by Leon Conrad
A two-in-one reversible design which can be made up as a Christmas Ornament or Needlecase.
This design was worked as a tribute to Elizabeth Talbot, Countess of Shrewsbury (1518-1608), companion to Mary Queen of Scots while she was in the custody of the Earl of Shrewsbury during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I.
The design is worked in Cross Stitch, Back Stitch and Couching Stitch using Rainbow Gallery Threads.
Each design is 44 stitches square. The charts come with full instructions which take you through the process of working the designs step by step from beginning to end in an easy to follow way.
