An intermediate/advanced level project which covers a range of original reversible designs of varying levels of complexity.

The main feature of this sampler is the conscious and graded use of different weights of threads - from the finest "Gossamer" #30 at the top, which is finer than a human hair to the thickest "Egyptian Night" #P12 at the bottom, which I use for outlines in counted designs.

The complete range of threads from The Ebony Collection - a collection of silk threads in 8 thicknesses for blackwork embroidery is used in this design.

Ideal for people who have not used these threads before, as you will be able to refer to the finished design to assess the suitability of different weights of thread for future projects.

The reversible pathways are charted in a unique way which sets the standard for clarity and ease of interpretation for all reversible designs.

The model is stitched on 32 count linen, but this is not compulsory - and you can always choose not to stitch it reversibly.
