Linda Cross Stitch Angel by Erik Christian
Linda Angel was created on Christmas Eve of 1999, and is based on a picture of one of the designer's friends, taken when she was nine years old.
He recreated her as an angel, with a mischievous look in her eye. An unusual contemporary blackwork design for stitchers who are after something a little bit different.
Design is 186 x 284 stitches, charted for stranded silk or cotton, of which you will need around 70 metres.
Finished size comes out at around 11.6 x 16 inches on 32 count fabric, stitched over 2; or c 13.2 x 18.2 inches on 28 count fabric.
