Tudor Rose is one of a pair of circular beaded blackwork designs which use silks and metallic threads to give a luxurious sense of the golden age of Elizabethan embroidery.
Loosely based on flower forms found on Elizabethan textiles, this design is worked on 32 count linen.

Design Area c. 24 cm (c 9.5 inches) square on 32 count fabric
Graph/Thread ratio = 1 square:1 fabric block containing 4 fabric thread intersections.
